What are the opening hours of the campus for the event?
The event will take place from 10:00 to 17:00. The campus will be open to visitors 30 minutes before and after the event.
Is there an entrance fee?
No, entry to Open Day is free of charge.
Is the venue accessible for disabled persons?
The campus of Forschungszentrum Jülich is accessible, and the accessible institutes are marked on the flyer and sign-posted on campus.
Can I take photos and record videos at the venue?
Yes, photography and video recording are permitted for personal use.
Are dogs allowed on campus?
No, unfortunately your pets must stay at home for Open Day, with the exeption of guide dogs.
Can bicycles be brought to the venue?
Yes, bicycles are permitted on campus. Bicycle stands are available at the campus entrances.
Can the campus be reached via public transport?
Yes, Forschungszentrum Jülich can be conveniently reached by public transport. How to get here
Can I park my car close to the venue?
Yes, there are designated parking spaces available in the vicinity. From the parking spaces, shuttle buses will take you to the campus free of charge.
Can I park on campus if I have a disabled pass?
Yes, this is possible. You can show your disabled pass at the main entrance and then follow the signposting or the instructions of security personnel.
Can I bring my own food and drink on Open Day?
Yes, this is allowed.
Is it possible to buy food and drink on campus?
Yes, please visit our catering stands where we will have a large variety of meals on offer.
Will the Hambach gate be open?
The Hambach gate is open for pedestrians on Open Day.
